When I first got engaged, I immediately started planning the wedding. Even though we weren't going to get married until after I had my degree, I was so excited to get started. That is, until I flipped open my first wedding magazine and saw the unbelievable expectations for a modern wedding. The checklist items in the front of the magazine included "hire your calligrapher." What?
